ABOUT TUSCALOOSA 311
Mayor Maddox is dedicated to making sure everyone who calls City Hall with a
request is treated to excellent customer service. Tuscaloosa 311 makes that happen
by helping you solve problems, obtain information and taking your request for service.
The 311 Call Center is located in City Hall off University Boulevard in the main foyer to the
right as you enter the building. We are operational from 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday,
during this time you will speak with a live person.
The office staff is dedicated to serving you and resolving any City issues you
may have.
TUSCALOOSA 311 IS HERE TO
Electronically route service requests to appropriate city government departments
Provide a neutral forum for citizens to make suggestions about city services
and departments
Provide a way to track the progress of Service Request Orders (SRO)
Answer questions citizens have concerning city organizations and services
Assist citizens in obtaining city services in a fair and efficient manner
TUSCALOOSA 311 DOES NOT
* Physically resolve service requests
* Handle requests for service for agencies other than The City Of Tuscaloosa (i.e. Tuscaloosa
County, State Of Alabama, Federal Government)
